- Dr. André Lalonde
Dr. André Lalonde is the executive Vice President of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada whose membership comprises Canadian Obstetricians and Gynecologists and professionals in affiliated roles such as family medicine, nursing, midwifery, basic and applied research and medical ethics. As the permanent executive his leadership is key in accomplishing the mandate of this organization including the development of clinical practice standards, continuing professional educational programs and general advocacy for women’s health. He represents the viewpoint of the profession to agencies such as government, several international organizations and the public.
- Dr. Michele Lauria
Dr. Michele Lauria is an associate Professor Obstetrics and Gynecology and Radiology, Dartmouth Medical College, Lebanon, New Hampshire. She is a practicing obstetrician gynecologist with specialty certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and a Masters degree from the Center for Evaluation of Clinical services with a concentration in quality improvement.
- Dr. James Low
Dr. James Low, Professor Emeritus, Queen’s University is an internationally recognized expert in the area of perinatal asphyxia. His publications number over 100, span several decades and are considered landmarks for creating important concepts and knowledge for this discipline. His meticulous methods and profound understanding of the subject are renown. Policy makers, academic groups and industry leaders worldwide seek his opinion.
- Dr. John Spencer
Dr. John Spencer is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University College London Medical School, London, and Northwick Park Hospital Middlesex Great Britain. He is a highly regarded senior obstetrician gynecologist with over 88 publications perinatal medicine. His has been a member of several professional and international organizations and has a particular interest in complications of labor and delivery, medical education and administration. He participated in the production of the Clinical Guidelines for Intrapartum Fetal Surveillance by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is an assistant editor of the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. A natural extension of this expertise has led him to major activities in medicolegal arenas.
