Antepartum Testing - CALM Advanced Annotations™

CALM Advanced Annotations (CAA) enables you to select, measure and label fetal tracings with electronic calipers, using National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) terminology.

CAA is designed to assist with the identification of fetal heart rate patterns. Tracings are presented in both a 20-minute view and a two-hour compressed view.

Key Features

  • Uses standardized 20-minute intervals in flowsheets designed for antepartum testing.
  • Enables you to measure fetal heart rate patterns with calipers directly on the tracing, including: length, starting and ending fetal heart rates, maximum/minimum values, and labeling of accelerations or decelerations.
  • Provides standard documentation to complete NST or CST Reports.
  • May be used in any obstetrical environment where fetal tracing data is being collected.

Key Benefits

  • Provides an efficient tool for the documentation of antepartum testing and intrapartum surveillance.
  • Enables accurate measurement of fetal heart rate variation.
  • A compressed two-hour view makes fetal heart rate patterns easy to identify on the tracing. Clicking anywhere on the compressed view enables you to see more detail within a 20-minute enlarged window.
  • Supports the ability to complete the testing criteria on twins as independent assessments, allowing you to continue to monitor the status of one baby while completing NST documentation on the other.
